R&C Chartering is a recently formed company in the Solent area. We have available a Keith Nelson 34’, twin engined launch, ‘Dragoon’, for skippered or bare boat charter on a part or daily basis, operating from Ocean Village, Southampton. Dragoon has been completely rebuilt, including new engines, over winter 04/05. It is now equipped to carry a maximum of 12 passengers, including crew, with MCA coding. Dragoon is also equipped with GPS, radar and VHF radio. This vessel has accommodation in the forward cabin, along with a galley (from which hot and cold light snacks and drinks can be served) and separate heads compartment. The cruising speed of the vessel is approximately 15 knots, and can work within waters 20 miles from a safe haven, which includes circumnavigating the Isle of Wight. Dragoon is ideal for corporate and private social events and occasions such as ‘Festival of the Sea’, ‘Round the Island Race’ and ‘Cowes Week’, or as a support or committee vessel for racing crews all year round.
